Welcome
To the website of Rackheath Players a small but friendly amateur dramatic society
based in the village of Rackheath, just on the north eastern outskirts of Norwich.
We stage three productions a year - traditionally a pantomime/family show in February involving many local children, and two other productions, one in Spring/ early Summer and one in the Autumn
Our output is varied - comedy, drama, pantomime, variety show, music hall, full length plays or one act plays - giving wide scope for people to try a bit of everything.
We are always looking for new members, and have a relative shortage of males and are looking for people with music playing abilities. Also anyone whose interest is not on-stage are welcome as well, as there is plenty of backstage and technical jobs to do.
Rehearsals are held weekly at 8.00pm on a Thursday, at Rackheath Village Hall. As a production draws near, more frequent and slightly earlier rehearsals are held.
