Omicron hold all the remaining stocks, pattern equipment and a significant quantity of the original factory drawings that was laid down by TOMs Toyota when they established their British Formula Three and British Touring Car Championship campaigns of the mid to late 1990s.
When TOMs UK withdrew from racing, the parts and cars were purchased by Rowan Racing in Walsall, from whom we acquired the remainder stocks.
We have quite a number of parts to build 1990’s British F3 specification engines or BTCC specification 3S-GE engines that Toyota used with the Carina E BTCC car.
There is also a large plan chest of original TOMs drawings and parts can be made to original drawings and material specifications and we also obtained a large selection of patterns and casting moulds so that many items that were specifically cast could be remade using the original tooling.
We also have the capability to redesign components – for example, the Toyota 3S-GE revision 3 cam cover (illustrated) which was reverse engineered from a revision 2 specification component which was similar but had different mounting points. We used these to build Monoposto specification Formula 3 derived single seater racing cars.
