Wet and windy today... 80mph
gales :-o
Have found another Montecarlo brochure - the
left one is for the S1 car, the right is for
the S2 car. These are not the only brochures
issued by Lancia for the Montecarlo.

Work has been given a lower priority
as rehearsals for the Rackheath
Players next production took priority.
The former owner sent a batch of papers and
photographs to embellish the history files,
including some tranparancies of the magazine
article photographs which I am having converted
into prints.
I have contacted Fast Car magazine in order
to see if I could get duplicates of the Montecarlo
Italian Intermarque challenge project

Plan for today was to strip the
drivers footwell. Rather than doing this, stripped
the passenger side of the rear bulkhead, and
the top of the centre console and passenger
side sill. Sanded down the Dinitrol rust converter
to provide a key, then primed in Corroless and
the right hand side of the front body compartment
Started on the rear left hand side of the engine
compartment before it started to rain heavily.
Managed to get some Dinitrol on it before the
heavens opened!

Removed old MOMO wheel and boss.
Beadblasted boss ready for refinishing in black
wrinkle finish paint. Here is the new wheel
- I will be using it with a Snap-Off quick release
adaptor for added security and a proper "race
car" feel!
