Mulbarton is a small village that has nestled in the Norfolk countryside for over 900 years (it is listed in the Doomsday book as Molkebartuna). The modern village of Mulbarton lies roughly 6 miles south of Norwich on the B1113 Norwich to New Buckenham road, between the A11 London Road, and the A140 towards Ipswich.
Whilst we are normally open from 9am until 6pm Mondays to Fridays, visitors are encouraged to phone in advance, so we can ensure we can spend as much time with you as possible. A list of part requirements in advance is also useful. Weekend visits are arranged in advance on a strict by-appointment basis only.
For Sat-Nav purposes, our postal code is NR14 8JS and if it doesn’t like that try Latitude : Longitude co-ordinates: 52.5629, 1.2370
• BY ROAD
from LONDON: M11–A11 or M11–A12–A140 or A1M–A505–A11 depending on direction and traffic. We would normally favour the M11-A11. The A12-A140 route is narrower and has varying speed limits.
from the MIDLANDS: A14–A11 or A17–A47. The A17 is mostly single carriageway.
